Having spent over two decades in the marketing domain across diverse industries, I have come to embrace the term “unprecedented” as a constant companion.
At Aster DM Healthcare, three words get mentioned frequently when we talk about our business - brand, customer experience and loyalty. It’s essential to make sure that all three are connected and not working in silos because, at the end of the day, loyalty is the end result of what the brand encompasses and the experience it offers.
We are also witnessing a radical shift from brand systems to building ecosystems. Medcare, a premium healthcare network that operates out of the United Arab Emirates, is a venture of Aster DM Healthcare, Aligned to the multicultural soul of the UAE, our team of multi-lingual doctors across Medcare facilities are qualified from top institutions in the USA, UK, India, France, Greece, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East. They are supported by the advanced diagnostic, treatment, surgical technology and facilities of Medcare.

Aster Hospitals
While our vast network of hospitals touch the lives of millions of patients every year, some initiatives demonstrate the commitment to our larger brand cause. Launched by our hospital network in UAE, "Aster Cosmos" is a remarkable support group catering to cancer survivors. This quarterly event is designed to bring together cancer survivors, current patients, and esteemed medical professionals, fostering an environment of support, hope, and camaraderie. Another example of an initiative to address an unmet health need was when Aster Hospital, Sharjah, introduced 12 speciality clinics dedicated to women's health, including PCOS, PCOD, adolescent support, fertility, menopause, and more. Thus, empowering women with tailored care for their unique health needs.

Aster Clinics
Aster DM Healthcare’s vast 120+ clinic centre network caters to a diverse patient base. The clinics are constantly evolving to help different patient needs that emerge due to modern lifestyles. In UAE, Aster Clinics have strategically established 10 concept clinics, each focused on relevant disease conditions such as sports injuries, headaches, allergies, vertigo and lifestyle management, among others. Aster Clinics also introduced the "Centre of Emotional and Mental Health," an impactful initiative to promote mental health awareness. With a dedicated hotline to address mental health concerns, and a team of psychologists/psychiatrists to help patients prioritise emotional well-being.

Aster Pharmacy
Aster Pharmacy has always embraced consumers' interest in well-being. For instance, the new store formats mirror Los Angeles, embodying liberalism, wellness, and diversity. Molecular-shaped beads in earthy tones represent human DNA, inspiring the innovative wellness-focused brand. Pastel shades of blue, green, and pink shaped like heart atriums illuminate each area. Biophilic elements create a calming atmosphere, departing from the typical clinical feel of pharmacies. In the same spirit, the pharmacy also launched an Innovation Station, a ground-breaking initiative powered by Rossmax's cutting-edge diagnostic technology. With a focus on customer well-being, this state-of-the-art facility offers valuable insights into a customers' health status, skin/ hair, and vitamins analysis.

myAster
The myAster platform has a record of several firsts. It was the GCC Region's first Integrated Healthcare Platform, granting patients effortless access to hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and pharmacies. With over one million lives touched since its launch in January 2023, myAster proudly holds the top rank as the most popular free medical app on both Play Store and App Store. Our key feature, video consultation within 30 mins, has been a gamechanger in the region. myAster has received the "Most Admired Online Innovation of the Year" award by RetailME and was honoured as "Digital Healthcare Provider of the Year" by Entrepreneur Magazine.

In 2019, Aster DM Healthcare acquired Grand Optics, strategically expanding to 18 optical stores across the UAE.
