FY 2024–2025 marks a year of transformative progress in Aster DM Healthcare GCC’s sustainability journey. As we present this ESG report, I take immense pride in the continued strides we have made in embedding sustainability, innovation, and excellence at the heart of our healthcare mission. 

This year has been defined by purposeful expansion, measurable environmental progress, and meaningful social impact. Our newest addition, the 126-bed Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital, reflects our commitment to modern, sustainable healthcare infrastructure, designed with advanced energy optimisation systems to reduce environmental impact while expanding access to specialised care.

Environmental stewardship remains a key focus. During the year, we achieved 542 tCO₂e in emissions avoidance through 1,340 MWh of renewable energy generation, alongside significant water conservation efforts that reduced consumption by 9,872 kilolitres across key hospitals. 

Equally important is the human impact of our work. Through the dedication of 37,722 Aster Volunteers in the GCC, we have supported communities through mobile medical clinics, targeted healthcare programs, and outreach initiatives, reaching millions of beneficiaries globally.

FY 2024-25 represents another milestone in Aster DM Healthcare GCC's journey towards responsible growth and sustainable healthcare delivery. During the year, Aster achieved AED 5,205 million in revenue, reflecting 14% growth, demonstrating the strength of our healthcare ecosystem and our commitment to improving accessibility and patient outcomes across the GCC.

Our ESG initiatives continue to strengthen environmental sustainability, community impact, and governance practices across our network. Through renewable energy adoption, improved resource management, and community healthcare outreach, we are creating measurable impact while ensuring responsible operations.

Technology and innovation remain central to our strategy. Platforms such as myAster help enhance the patient experience by improving access, convenience, and continuity of care across our healthcare ecosystem.

It is my privilege to present the FY 2024-25 ESG Report, which reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible governance across Aster DM Healthcare GCC. 

Over the past year, we strengthened our governance framework through the implementation of 15 key policies, including ESG governance guidelines, risk management frameworks, and ethical conduct standards.

Our ESG Risk Management Framework plays an important role in guiding strategic decision-making, helping us identify and address environmental, social, and governance risks while ensuring resilience in our operations. 

By aligning governance practices with sustainability priorities, we continue to strengthen trust with patients, partners, and stakeholders across the region.
